I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to visit the Montefiore Community Center every Thursday in the Bronx, New York. It has become a special part of my week, especially because it gives me the chance to introduce Gin-Go to seniors who already know and enjoy the classic card game, Gin Rummy.

An Amuráti is a short one -page story of 300 words or less. It has no title, only numbered, and it is up to the reader to decide a name after reading it. The following is story is from Amuráti Volume 3 .

Have you ever taken the time to think about the footsteps that brought you to where you are today? I mean those little fluctuations in the force that made you turn left when you were told to turn right. I was told by my Dad to take a civil servant job, get a pension, and call it a life. I turned left. I have been complimented on my game designs. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share some ideas with the world. Was there a connection, a trail of lily pads that led to this point? I remember...
