From Riverfest to Comic Con in Yonkers

This past Saturday, September 13, 2025, we had the pleasure of setting up as vendors at Riverfest in Yonkers, New York—and what a day it was! The sun shone bright over the Hudson, the air carried that crisp early-fall energy, and every so often the wind decided to remind us who’s boss with a playful gust or two.

The best part, though, wasn’t the weather—it was the people. From families strolling with curiosity to gamers eager to try something new, our table quickly became a hub of laughter, strategy, and a little friendly competition. Watching someone’s face light up when they realize how quickly and easily our games are to learn never gets old. In just a few minutes, folks were already plotting moves, teasing their opponents, and asking where they could play again.

Two crowd favorites stole the spotlight: Kitunda and Gin-Go. Time and again, players told us they were surprised at how these games pack so much fun and excitement into such a simple setup. It’s moments like these that remind us why we love creating and sharing them.

Now, we’re already gearing up for our next big adventure: Yonkers Comic Con on September 27! We can’t wait to see some of the familiar faces we met at Riverfest, and hopefully meet many more new friends.
